
General Terms and Conditions
for Digital Products, Programmes and Mentoring

§1 Provider

§2 Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concerning:
-
digital products (e.g. online courses and audio content)
-
1:1 programmes (“Dein Kompass”)
-
group mentoring
-
other digital services
entered into between Judith Degeest (hereinafter referred to as the “Provider”) and consumers.
Any differing terms and conditions of the Customer shall not be accepted.
§3 Subject Matter of the Contract
(1) The subject matter of the contract is the provision of digital content or the delivery of mentoring services.
(2) These services do not constitute therapeutic or medical treatment.
(3) Participation is not a substitute for medical or psychotherapeutic treatment.
§4 Conclusion of the Contract
(1) The presentation of the products does not constitute a legally binding offer.
(2) By submitting the order form, the Customer makes a binding offer.
(3) The contract is concluded by:
-
express acceptance by email; or
-
provision of access to the digital content; or
-
confirmation of an appointment for 1:1 services.
§5 Prices and Payment Terms
(1) The prices stated at the time the order is placed shall apply.
(2) Payment shall be made using one of the payment methods offered, such as PayPal or bank transfer.
(3) Payment by instalments is only possible by individual agreement.
(4) In the event of late payment, the Provider shall be entitled to suspend the services.
§6 Digital Content and Right of Withdrawal
(1) In the case of digital content, the right of withdrawal expires before the end of the withdrawal period if:
-
the Customer expressly agrees that performance of the contract may begin before the end of the withdrawal period; and
-
the Customer acknowledges that this results in the loss of the right of withdrawal.
(2) This consent shall be actively given during the ordering process.
§7 Right of Withdrawal for Services
(1) Consumers generally have a right of withdrawal for a period of 14 days.
(2) In the case of services that have been fully performed, the right of withdrawal expires if the Customer has expressly agreed that performance of the service may begin before the end of the withdrawal period.
§8 Mentoring Services
(1) The mentoring services constitute guidance and support.
(2) No specific outcome or result is guaranteed.
(3) The Customer bears full responsibility for all decisions made by the Customer.
§9 Appointments and Cancellations
(1) Agreed appointments are binding.
(2) Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
(3) If an appointment is cancelled at shorter notice, the appointment may be forfeited.
§10 Copyright
All content is protected by copyright.
Distribution, reproduction or publication of such content is not permitted.
§11 Liability
(1) The Provider shall only be liable for wilful misconduct and gross negligence.
(2) The Provider accepts no liability for individual financial or personal decisions.
(3) Liability for injury to life, limb or health remains unaffected.
§12 Confidentiality
All information and content shared during mentoring shall be treated as confidential.
§13 Applicable Law
German law shall apply.
The place of jurisdiction shall be Leipzig, to the extent permitted by law.
